We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Platform
• Generate AI-powered technology recommendations tailored to your business needs
• Process partner applications, commissions, and payouts
• Send transactional emails (account confirmations, recommendation results, order updates)
• Send service-related communications (you may opt out of non-essential emails)
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations

3. AI and Automated Processing

TekAxis uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to analyze your intake submissions and generate supplier recommendations. This processing involves your business profile and technology requirements. We do not use this data to train external AI models. Recommendations are generated to assist your decision-making and are not binding.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Matched suppliers: When you select a recommendation and an order is created, we share relevant business details with the matched supplier to initiate provisioning
• Partners: If you were referred by a TekAxis Partner, we may share your order status with that partner (not your personal contact details unless you consent)
• Service providers: We use Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Stripe (payments), and Anthropic (AI). Each is bound by data processing agreements
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of TekAxis and its users

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Intake submissions and order history are retained for 7 years for business and tax purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database storage, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, and role-based access controls. No system is completely secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@tekaxis.ai.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect Platform functionality.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
